The standard was really high, and the organisation was excellent. Well done Judith.
Ruth
St Edward's CollegeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1806954077110893333.post-75041375290090851762008-11-19T14:24:00.000+00:002008-11-19T14:24:00.000+00:00What a great evening we had - but actually it was ...What a great evening we had - but actually it was Cockermouth School who came third!! An amazing breadth of literary knowledge was on display as usual. Our spectators were dying to answer the questions: time to bring an additional team, I think.

Thanks to Judith Sprawling for her organisation, to Bolton Uni for accommodating us and to Wayne for coming up with a mind-boggling selection of questions again to keep us all on our toes.Mrs Farrarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00907115963115503834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1806954077110893333.post-54460977944678832592008-11-19T12:19:00.000+00:002008-11-19T12:19:00.000+00:00Last night was our third year at the event and yet...Last night was our third year at the event and yet again the kids and the staff had a great time. It just goes to show that you don't need boys and girls on the team. A big thank you to everyone who helped out, especially Philip Caveney and the University of Bolton. The venue was wonderful and the refreshments very welcome at the end of a long day. The schools who make the mammoth journey from Cumbria can be proud that they took 2nd and 3rd place.
Judith SprawlingAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
